The One Hope Project, a cooperative effort of churches, individuals, and other organizations in the Coachella Valley, gathered in November 2022 to pray for the persecuted Christians around the world and to bring donations for providing them Bibles. The total of the donations for 2022 is over $36,000. This will provide for Bibles to be printed, shipped, and delivered to approximately 3,751 persecuted Christians.
At the gathering at Southwest Church in November, the participating churches prayed for the persecuted Christians, took part in a moving worship time, and prayed for the Bibles that would be delivered to the Christians in danger. In 2021, 360 million Christians, or 1 in 7 believers around the world, suffered significant persecution for their faith.
The One Hope Project is dedicated to providing a Bible to every persecuted Christian around the world. This year, the money gathered in the fall went to Frontlines International, an organization which distributes Bibles to persecuted Christians.
Since the project’s start in 2008, the One Hope Project has raised over $337,000, which provided for over 60,000 Bibles. If you would like to be part of the One Hope Project, please contact Pastor Dave Gordon at Trinity Baptist Church, (760) 347-0604.
This year, we’ve selected a project through Frontlines International to provide Bibles for persecuted brothers and sisters in a closed country,
